Not to be missed is the biggest bell inside weighing 440lbs ( 200kg ), with its chimes weighing total 2.5 tons. Next to visit is the Yellow Crane Tower on the Snake Hill, reconstructed with drawings and paintings from the Yuan and Ming dynasties.
Lunch time: 1230pm.
In the afternoon, our attentive guide will show you
to the East Lake, which is full of all kinds of pavilions, towers and arcades
along the shore and in the parks creating the atmosphere of a typical Chinese
landscape. Tortoise Hill rises up on the west bank of the Yangtze River, directly
opposite Snake Hill. The main object of interest here is the Guqin Tai Terrace,
which is also called the Boya Pavilion after a famous musician. Boya actually
destroyed his beloved zither upon learning that his best friend, who is the
only person really understands his music, died.
