Xi'an is located in the traffic center adjoining East China to Northwest and Southwest of China. In the recent years, Xi'an has built many highways including Highway Xi'an to Ling Tong (Terra-Cotta Warriors), Xi'an to Tong Chuan and Xi'an to Baoji.

Super Highway has also been built between Ling Tong and Wei Nan. A network has so far been set up with Xi'an in the center extending to the different cities and towns in Shanxi Province and to other cities in China by 8 National Highways and 14 Provincial Highways.

The Super Highway contributes a lot to the modernization of the transportation between tour spots, satellite cities and airport.
