Garden & Old Shanghai Town & Jade Buddha Temple

Starting at 0900am, the tour has its first stop at Yu Garden, the prettist garden in Shanghai. Walking out of Yu Garden, you will enter into Old Shanghai Town, a hustling and bustling bazaar, lined with colorful food stores, tea houses, souvenir stalls, and even with Kentucky Fried Chicken. The whole bazaar is riddled with such a maze of small lanes, it is always advisable to remember the location of the car/bus which later will take you to Jade Buddha Temple as your second stop today.
Two Sakiyamuni statues in the temple were believed to be brought here by the monk Huigen from Burma.
Lunch is followed. In the afternoon, our guide will
show you to the longest shopping street - the famous Nanjing
Road, while the rubbernecking here will end up in the parking lot inside
the Friendship Store around 0430pm.
