Tour starts at 0800am and the first stop is at the Cloisonne Factory. Cloisonne is one of the Chinese royal arts and crafts, exclusively used in the Imperial families before 1911. Beijing houses the only two state-owned factories, where you will see the artists working at their masterpieces very carefully with their own eyes ( not with any glasses or microscope ). By 1030am, you will be at the Ming Tomb Surroundings, particularly at the De Ling Tomb to learn about Chinese Fengshui and the luxurious tomb of each of the 13 emperors buried here, some with their wives, during the Ming Dynasty ( 1368-1640). Next to the Tomb area located the small village, most of the farmers are descendents of the Tomb-watchers. Our bus will stop there for you to talk with the local people and wander around the village. Lunch will be in Siwei Restaurant, one of the 5 star ones with an elegant souvenir shop to show off your credit card. Bus will leave for the Great Wall at 0200pm. Today you will see one of the most magnificent part of the Great Wall called Waterpass. Ever since 221 BC, the first emperor of China, Qin, united the whole China and began to connect the city walls of the different small kingdoms together in order to build the defense work against the nomadic tribes from the northern Mongolia.
