Dadonghai is situated about two kilometers east from the Sanya City, with the Luihuitou (The deer Turning Back) in  its proximity. It is a beautiful swimming resort with warm water and flat beach.

Sunshine, coconut trees, beaches, sea waves, rainbow, and sails constitute the irresistible attraction of the Dadonghai. The peculiar coastal scenery of the tropical region adds favor to the beauties of Dadonghai. If you wallow in the sea, you simply cannot describe in words your satisfaction and comforts you can get from swimming leisurely there, picking shells, picking shells, digging for crabs, building san castles, etc.

About 300-400 meters (1000 feet) away from the swimming resort is a small hill in the garden is a kiosk where one can have a bird's eye-view of the Dadonghai.
